Transit Police Endorse Ingargiola for State Rep. in PA 195th
Philadelphia, Wednesday March 31, 2010 -Philadelphia, Today the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Transit Police (FOTP) Lodge 109, pledged their support to career public servant and civic leader, Anthony Ingargiola, Democratic Candidate for the PA General Assembly. Ingargiola is seeking the party nomination in the May 18th Primary Election for Pennsylvania State Representative, 195th Legislative District.
Richard Neal, President of the FOTP, declared, “When we needed Anthony, he had our back. At a time when SEPTA didn’t have much sympathy for our situation, and the riding public was just beginning to understand us, Anthony jumped right in and as a result, SEPTA and the riding public gained a new respect for the important work that we do in protecting thousands of people as they ride the SEPTA system every day. As a result, we were able to secure the kind of contract that our members deserve.”
The people of the 195th deserve the same kind of leadership and passion in Harrisburg fighting for Education, Jobs, and Justice. The FOTP’s Neal went on to say, “Vote for Anthony Ingargiola because he’ll have your back and he’ll fight for what matters to the people of the 195th every day.”
Ingargiola proudly proclaimed, “it is an honor to have the support of the Fraternal Order of Transit Police. This union represents the men and women who serve by putting their lives on the line every day and we all owe them a debt of gratitude.”
